🛡️ GDPR — Restriction of data processing

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may request the restriction of processing of your personal data. This page explains what this right consists of and how to exercise it.

What does restriction of processing consist of?

Restriction “freezes” your data: Sedes keeps it but stops using it, except for the establishment or defence of legal claims, or with your consent. In practice, your searches are no longer shared with professionals and you no longer receive proposals.

In which cases can you request it?

• You contest the accuracy of your data, for the time it takes us to verify it.
• The processing is unlawful but you prefer restriction to erasure.
• We no longer need your data, but you need it to assert a legal claim.
• You have objected to the processing, for the time it takes us to verify whether our legitimate grounds override yours.

How to exercise this right?

Send your request to Contact@sedes.Immo specifying the email address of your account and the reason for the restriction. An ID document may be requested from you in case of reasonable doubt about your identity.

Response time

We respond within one month of receiving the request. This period may be extended by two months if the request is complex; you will then be informed.

Your other rights

• Access: obtain a copy of the data concerning you.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate information, directly from “My settings”.
• Erasure: delete your account and the associated data.
• Objection: refuse processing based on legitimate interest.
• Portability: retrieve your data in a reusable format.

Complaint

If you consider, after contacting us, that your rights are not being respected, you may refer the matter to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris.
